Frank's Place, Inc. is located in the community of Long Island in South Central Virginia. It is a family owned and operated business.
Frank's Place was established in 1947 by Frank B. and his son, Frank T. Hodnett. It was originally an auto repair shop and remained so until June of 1960 when Frank T. took over the day-to-day operations. It was at that time he decided the future lay in the recycling of used automobile parts.
From it's humble beginnings, the business has grown today to include a computerized inventory of over fifty acres of late model used auto parts, a state-of-the-art body shop, and is also an independent used car dealership.
Frank's Place, Inc. is a member of the National Federation of Independent Businesses, the Virginia Independent Automobile Dealer Association, the Automotive Recyclers Association, and the National Independent Automobile Dealers Association.
In order to better assist its customers, Frank's Place is connected by voice teletype and computerized satellite inventory locators to over 2600 salvage yards nationwide. If we don't have your parts, we usually can find them for you quickly. Our delivery vehicles service a tri-state area on large items, and we also ship daily by UPS and freight line.
